_{Are e-bikes allowed?}

Yes! E-bikes are welcome on the Short and Medium courses. You must select the e-bike option when registering. E-bike riders can enjoy the full Heart of Gold experience, but their times will not count toward official results or podium placement.

_{I’m injured. Can I defer my registration to 2027?}

We’re sorry you’re sidelined. Registration deferrals to the 2027 event will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Contact us as soon as possible with your registration information, and we’ll let you know what options are available.

_{Can I switch course distances?}

You bet! If you want to switch courses, send us a message before race day with your name and the new distance you want to ride. We’ll make the change and get you ready to roll!

_{What’s the perfect tire size for Heart of Gold?}

We recommend 40mm tires, but 42mm or larger works great too. A little extra tire can give you more grip and confidence when the gravel gets rowdy!
